“An immersive entertainment experience!”
A concert like no other, The Police Files combines:
- Live music performance
- Behind-the-scenes tales of the road
- One-of-a-kind images and video
- Traveling museum of band and tour artifacts
The Police Files concert tour is the brainchild of Jeff Seitz, the Juilliard-trained drummer who was Stewart Copeland’s drum tech on multiple world tours, recorded with Sting, and even filled in for Stewart on tour as well as co-producing his film scores. As The Police Files drummer and music director, Jeff ensures faithful renditions of The Police’s music.
Jeff and the band perform hits from The Police’s complete catalog. Between songs, our Host, Andrew McGinnis – a skilled raconteur and crowd warmer – keeps the audience engaged with banter and true tales of life backstage and on the road. Previously unpublished images and video clips play behind the band, adding texture and meaning to the performance.
Enhancing the live concert is a traveling museum of Police memorabilia, including the original Zenyatta Mondatta drum kit, backstage passes, tour jackets, handwritten lyrics and set lists, even Sting’s wedding invitation.
The Police will not tour again, but with The Police Files, the music goes on and on.
